I’ve been working in Soccer PR for 13 years, but this was the first time I experienced the magic of being on the field in the final moments—confetti raining down from the ceiling, the U.S. Men’s National Team celebrating their win with family and friends, and the pitch absolutely swarming with photographers capturing every second of it.
Standing in the middle of it all—taking it in while still doing my job—was surreal. These moments are usually a blur behind a press credential, a headset, and a schedule. But this time, I got to feel the energy up close, and it reminded me why I love this work.
These events always push you—in the best way. Long days, nonstop coordination, media deadlines, and the kind of behind-the-scenes hustle that few people ever see. But what makes it all worth it is the community.
As always, I was surrounded by a fantastic crew—some old friends, some new—but all part of the team that made the weekend run smoothly. It was intense, fast-paced, and unforgettable.
Here’s to more firsts, more memories, and everything ahead.
This year marks 13 years of being in this world, and every time I step back into it, I’m reminded why I started. There’s something really special about being part of moments like this—where passion, pressure, and purpose collide.
Grateful, energized, and already looking forward to the next one.
