A New Chapter

Hi there, friends!

I have huge news to share with my network of friends, colleagues and extended business network.

Change is life’s only constant and now, due to my job role at Champions School of Real Estate being permanently relocated to Austin, Texas, I am facing the journey of finding a new direction in which to take my career in 2020.

As many of you know, I am currently the national communications director for Champions School of Real Estate, the largest real estate education provider in the country. In the last six years, I have been part of a great team that has, together, achieved accomplishments, brand presence, and growth that I am proud to have been a part of.

It is vital for me to look back and reflect upon the nearly six years in which I have proudly been a Champion. Maybe it was fate, but several extraordinary incidences led to me knocking on Champions doors in 2013. During my very first meeting with the company that November, I remember walking into my meeting looking to secure a contract for my business and walking out hoping to be a part of this amazing company.

From that moment on, I have been very appreciative of the opportunities to participate in so many incredible initiatives and accomplishments that I wouldn’t have experienced anywhere else. Some things that come to mind include:

Bearing witness to how Champions School of Real Estate changes lives by helping people reach their career dreams has been an incredible part of working at Champions School of Real Estate.

Working with a statewide team of people I genuinely enjoy, respect and value and a regional group that has become like family to me, makes this an incredibly bittersweet situation. It has been a remarkable ride, and I have fond memories that I will hold on to forever.

What’s Next?

I am excited about the chance to take on a new challenge. Please keep me in mind if you come across any communications career opportunities that you think I’d be a good fit for! Additionally, I’ll be looking for new consulting business clients beginning in January. If you are a professional looking to clean up your digital footprint, if you are self-employed or a small business owner and you need social media training or if you would like for me to create a social media marketing strategy to help you market your brand like the pros, I’ll be available to work alongside you to help you reach success! My Background

For those of you not so familiar with my background, my education at Baylor University taught me valuable lessons in communications, public relations, international studies, and business administration. I traveled abroad to gain international perspectives, and my double major (and minor) gave me a strong foundation on which I began a fruitful career in communications and PR. It has been within my professional career, where I have had the opportunity to work with national and international teams, brands, and companies like Richmond Public Relations in Seattle, Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing in New York City and throughout the United States and more that I have been able to take that knowledge and consistently demonstrate problem-solving, creative thinking, and persuasion abilities. I have experienced working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments while also adeptly building strong and lasting business relationships.

Throughout my 10-year career, I’ve developed and built on skill sets that would make me ideal for a communications position. Throughout my career I have dabbled in nearly every facet of communications, including communications strategies at the executive level, speechwriting, producing pitch decks, working with media in fluent English and Spanish, developing and executing high-visibility events, managing internal and external communications, developing digital marketing programs, working with multiple teams throughout different regions, managing social media, brand management, and much more. There’s no question; I am used to wearing many hats.

Closing Thoughts

I will never have anything but gratitude for the lessons learned and experience gained at Champions School of Real Estate! There is no finer group of people and I think that anyone interested in pursuing a real estate career would be crazy to choose another provider. It has been a great six years to be a Champion!

I have faith that a bright future awaits. I’ll keep you posted and I thank you for joining me and supporting me on this journey!
